Reflections
After reading about the trials and tribulations of a soldier during the Civil War, you now now realize that life as a soldier was not an easy one. If you could have chosen sides, which one would you have chosen and why? If this war could have been avoided, what steps needed to be taken? Do you think that we are a stronger nation for going through this turmoil and this war? If so, why?
Think about these questions. Get together with your partner/friend and discuss them.
