Polar bears are carnivores or meat eaters. Their main foods are seals and whales. Male polar bears can weigh up to 1,433 pounds and over 9 feet long. Their back legs are longer than their front legs. His eyes are small and close together. A polar bear's fur is oily and water repellent. A polar bear's fur reflects sunlight. The sunlight 'bounces' off of it. That is why it looks white in color. Underneath the fur, the bear's skin is black.
