Shaker Village Water House

Here we have what the Shakers called their water house. This housed the huge water tank that the Shakers heavily relied on.


		This is the stairway up to the water tank when you enter this building.
	Looking up in the building, you can see the big tank. It is made of wood. As long as they kept water in it, the wood would swell and not leak.
