| The blacksmith knew that there are two different fires he can build. If he wanted to heat the middle of the iron, he made a flat fire. This way, he could lay the iron down flat. Now, if he wanted to heat the tip of the iron, he could pile the coal up for a deep fire. | ||
The blacksmith brushes the iron when it is hot. The surface of the iron becomes shiny. |
