SHARKS

A shark has many teeth.  These teeth are very, very sharp.  Carnivores eat meat.  Sharks are carnivores.  Their favorite foods are dolphins, seals and other fish.  I sure would not want that shark to bite me! Sharks don't use their teeth to chew their food. They swallow their food whole.

Not like us, sharks don't have bones.  They have cartilage as their bones.  Cartilage is like the top part of our ears.  It is bendable.  This makes it easy for them to swim.  Sharks are very fast swimmers.
