POLICY 6.3

MOVIES AND TELEVISION

Subject to paragraph 3, movies and television programs shown during school time shall be related to the classroom curriculum and shall be appropriate for the age and developmental stage of the students to whom such movies and television programs are shown.

The showing of any other movies and television programs must receive the prior approval of the principal.

No commercial movie or television program may be shown without the prior approval of the principal. "Commercial" shall mean any television show that was broadcast via a network and any movie that was released for showing at a theater or by video tape.
