A.     Writing Portfolio

·        Working Portfolios stored in Office

·        Current Portfolio pieces to be copied/ utilized next year as models in writing lessons

B.      Professional Development

·        Discussed possible writing training for teachers other than 4^th grade (Portfolio Development and Portfolio Scoring)

·        Lynda Davis will meet with Professional Development Committee to ascertain possibility of planning PD workshops related to writing for 2005-2006 school year (school-wide?  grade levels?)

C.     Plan for 2005-2006 School Year

·        Discussion of order of Writing Portfolio pieces to be taught

·        Brainstorming of strategies/interventions to be further discussed/implemented

·        Discussion of teaching/modeling alternate styles of poetry in literary writing lessons
