Portfolio Update--Students
continue to write/type their pieces in the three genres required
(Literary, Transactive, and Personal
- On-Demand
Writing--Lynda
has distributed On-Demand Writing Prompts to the 4th grade teachers to use
in class. She has other prompts
appropriate for lower- and upper-primary, and intermediate classes, which
will be distributed at the next Faculty Meeting.
- Lynda
is checking again with Carolyn Martin concerning the completion of Writing
Portfolios for ESL students. We
are concerned with the 100-day ruling relating to a student in Mrs. Kinman's
class who doesn't speak English.
Mrs. Martin has replied that a decision has not been finalized yet,
and she will forward info to Lynda.
