**Ongoing focus on ORQ's in all subject areas (included are questions formulated last week

during PD)

**Writing Portfolios--Continue working on pieces in Personal Expressive Writing (Memoirs,

Personal Narratives);

Continue working on Persuasive Letters (in Technology), begin Feature

Articles (in Homeroom) for Transactive Writing..

Concerns:

(Students have begun typing writing pieces in the Writing Lab. We have concerns about the limited number of computers available this year. Also, with less time with

classroom assistants, students in Writing Lab may not have adult supervision at all

times)

PS--Students will be writing a Persuasive Letter ("turkey-themed), the week of Thanksgiving.
