Items Discussed:

**Teachers searched the Jefferson County Open Response Item Bank to familiarize themselves

with available material.

**Each 4th Grade teacher will prepare an ORQ in an assigned academic area, utilizing Higher

Levels of Bloom's Taxonomy. These ORQ's will be shared on Oct. 15, 2003.

Davis--Social Studies Kinman--Math Pearman--Reading Rose--Science

**Writing Portfolio Update--students continue to work on Memoirs in homeroom classes;

and Persuasive Letters in Technology.
