to PTA
We edited and revised the proposed letter. Amy will revise the letter.

PTA/Technology
Funds An
allowance of $1500 has been allotted to purchase technology for Stonewall.
It was discussed and voted that this money shall be spent on purchasing 2
computers at $1500

KETS
Funds
It was discussed and voted on that the funds will be used to purchase 9
workstations leaving $773.96 in the account. These workstations will be put in
the computer lab. At a later date,
it will be decided as to where the older workstations shall be distributed. Amy
will place the order.

Professional
Development

Assistants
need to be trained on technology basics so as to assist students when in the
writing lab
o
Teachers
need time to develop and integrate technology into their curriculum along with
having a resource person there to answer their questions.
o
Time
is a big factor.
Action
taken on each item:

Letter
to PTA - Stacey Rearic will put the technology committee on the PTAs next
agenda and read the letter at the next PTA meeting.
It was decided that the technology committee will be attending the PTA
meeting on January 25th.

Fund - Amy will place the computer order.

KETS
9 workstations will be ordered by Amy.
I will change the finance amounts (below) once the order goes through.

will discuss with Mr. McCaw the possibility of giving the assistants some PD on
technology basics.

was lead on what teachers/want need with technology PD.
Amy will check with the PD committee about some PD being offered at the
beginning of the year before students arrive.
Teachers need time to sit down integrate technology into their
curriculum.
