Agenda: KETS funding, Budget Policy

 Discussion on each item:

• KETS Funding – We now have a new balance of $7,784.96. Members discussed the different ways in which we can spend the money.
• Budget Policy – We rewrote the budget policy as follows:

 With the input of the staff, the SBDM Council will conduct a needs assessment for budget planning purposes.

 With staff input, expenditures of discretionary funds to support the mission and vision statement of the school will be determined by the outcome of the needs assessment and the SBDM Council.

 Action taken on each item:

• Members will decide during the next meeting how KETS funding will be spent.
• The budget policy and the extra curricular activity policy will be emailed to Mr. McCaw.
