Printers:
A letter was written and given to Mary Jane Kinman (PTA representative)
to present to the PTA asking them to purchase two monochrome laser printers and
one color laser printer. Nothing
was voted on at this meeting. Hopefully,
it will be voted upon next PTA meeting.
Portable
Wireless Lab:
A letter was written and given to Mary Jane Kinman to present to the PTA
asking them to purchase a portable wireless lab.
Teachers would be able to roll a wireless, networked lab into their
classroom and each student would have the opportunity to integrate technology
with a lap top computer. Nothing
was voted on during this meeting. Hopefully,
it will be voted upon next PTA meeting. Terry
Wicker, Greg Drake and Dayna Lykins will be at the March PTA meeting to help
answer questions about the wireless portable lab.
Also, Mr. Wicker has agreed to purchase the cart and the necessary items
needed for making this portable lab wireless.
Alpha
Smarts:
Juanita Whitaker suggested that an email be sent out reminding them that the
alpha smarts can be also used for portfolios.
Hand
Held Translators:
Juanita Whitaker will be looking into pricing and details for hand held
translators to help ESL students as well as teachers communicate.
