Technology Minutes

March 19, 2002

Members Present:  Stacie Musgrave, Cynthia Turner, Donna Lansden, Sue Kolka, Dana Houghland, Dayna Lykins, Wendy Bottom, Becky Bruce and Amy Ford

An emergency meeting of the technology committee was called to order to address the topic of Stonewall’s technician position that is in jeopardy for the school year of 2002-03.  Amy explained to the committee that some funding of this position had been depleted. A notation was made that the SBDM council said that this decision (of using KETS funds to supplement this position) was up to the technology committee.  The committee discussed the two choices:

1.       Using KETS funds to supplement the technician position (approximately $10,000)

2.       Opting not to use the funds to supplement the technician position with the possibility of having just a lab attendant.

After a discussion, the committee voted unanimously in favor to use KETs funds to supplement the technician position.
