The
committee reviewed computer requests. A
discussion was led on how to distribute our new ones.
Janie Fields will make sure that all requests are fulfilled the best way
possible and according to the committee’s suggestions and consultation with
Amy Ford.
As
a committee, we are in the process of reviewing the math and reading components
in the consolidated plan. Our goal
is to make technological integration suggestions to each component.
The reading component was reviewed and suggestions include the following:
Ø
Changing
web-based activities to technology-based activities
Ø
Including
technology as an option as an intervention strategy to help students below
reading grade levels
Ø
Reading
and math assessment responsible persons should include the technology teacher
Ø
Converting
the technology teacher position to a part time technology teacher and part time
technology resource teacher but having both positions filled by the same person
The
committee will review on their time the math component of the consolidated plan.
After reviewing, suggestions will be emailed to Amy and she will then
revise the component and turn in to Charlie Hardy.
