TECHNOLOGY MINUTES
February 7, 2001
Members Present:  Sue Kolka, Stacie Musgrave, Amy Ford, and Donna Lansden

Subjects Addressed:

q       The last technology meeting notes were reviewed and discussed.

q       Computers are now set up.  However, we are having problems with the new networking cards.

q       All 4^th grade teachers now have an AverKey hooked up to their televisions and  computers.  We are still having problems with the lack of remotes.  The teachers that have them are using them a lot.  They are very please with the attention and learning that goes on while using it is a teaching tool.

q       STL’s were shown how to attach the accessories onto AverKeys so they are ready for hook ups in classrooms.

q       We are still waiting for TV’s to come in that Stacie Musgrave purchased.

Purchases with KETS monies were voted on and approved as follows:

q       The purchase of 50 licenses of Kid Pix Studio for approximately $800

q       The purchase of a laptop for Mr. Hardy.  (His computer will be reformatted and distributed to a classroom)

q       The purchase of software to replace worn and scratched CD’s in the lab (such as Read, Write and Type)
