Technology Committee Meeting

January 2, 2001 

Members Present:

Janie Fields, Sue Kolka, Stacie Musgrave, Amy Ford, Chris Dolt, Donna Lansden

Subjects Addressed:

·        The last technology meeting notes were reviewed and discussed.

·        Goals for were voted on and approved.  The goals are as follows:

·           We are still waiting for the new TV’s to come in.

·        Digital Cameras [1 per grade level] to be purchased by PTA and checked out in the library.

·           Amy e-mailed Mr. Potter requesting the purchase of 4 digital cameras (one per grade level)  Mr. Potter is checking in on that for us

·        Scan converters will be connected in every classroom.

·           We are in the process of working on different alternatives to get these up and running.

·           Stacie suggested we show some STLP students how to hook the scan converters up.

·        Purchases with KETS monies were voted on and approved as follows:

The new computers have come in.  Janie has been diligently setting them up and getting the others out to the classrooms.  We are still waiting for the color laser printer as it is on back order.
