Discussion
on each item:1. The committee
discussed the changes made on our draft of the Committee structure document and
reviewed changes and descriptions previously written.
2.
February 14th: Valentine Day treats will be provided for the staff
3. The place for our May retirement dinner was discussed as well as
possible dates. 4. The week of
March 7th- 11th is Cafeteria workers week and ways to
honor and recognize them were discussed.
Action
taken on each item: 1. Eileen
Haggard will make the final revisions on the Committee structure draft and give
it to Ed so it can be presented at faculty meeting.
2. Debbie has been in contact with Tami Hoots and the hospitality
committee so that teachers and staff will be treated on Valentines Day with food
brought in by the PTA. The secret
cupid project will begin Feb. 8th and conclude on Feb. 14th.
3. Pam Mitchell is willing to reserve the Boone faculty club for our May
retirement dinner. Debbie will work
with Pam to secure a date for the dinner. 4.
Melinda Vanover will send an e-mail to all of the teachers two weeks before
March 7th to direct all classes to honor the cafeteria staff with a
card shower. Eileen will produce a
video honoring the cafeteria staff with her second grade students to be
presented on Eye on Stonewall that week.
