 Agenda:

  1. Update and refine guidelines and responsibilities
  2. Solicit parent to serve on our committee
  3. Draft policy of committee structure

 Discussion on each item:

  1. Discussion centered on adding an assistants’ appreciation week in the spring and our upcoming holiday potluck and gifts for the faculty.
  2. We will ask Tami Hoots to join our committee.  She is the chair of the PTA hospitality committee.
  3. Much discussion and clarification of specific items concerning the draft of the committee structure took place.

 Action taken on each item:

  1. Mr. McCaw will be asked to approve adding an assistants’ appreciation week in 2005.  Becky Horine will be asked to purchase gift certificates.  At the upcoming faculty meeting, the December 3rd faculty potluck will be announced and sign up sheets will be circulated.  No secret pal or Santa gifts will be exchanged this December due to time constraints.  This idea may be revisited for a 2005 activity.
  2. Debbie Moore will contact Mrs. Hoots and ask her to join the committee.
  3. A rough draft of changes to the committee structure document was done.  Mr. McCaw’s input will be requested concerning some items that need further clarification by Eileen Haggard and Debbie Moore.
