Members Present: Becky Horine, Sarah Erwin, Eileen Haggard, Debbie Moore

Agenda –

Becky Horine is chair, Eileen Haggard will be in charge of finances, Debbie Moore will do minutes, Sarah Erwin will collect dues and post monthly snack sign ups.

A vote was taken concerning the amount of dues and it was decided to lower the social dues from $25 to $20 this year.

Veronica Covington and Eileen Haggard will serve as parent reps as well as staff members.

Immediate needs for the committee to recognize:

1. Bill Gatliffs’ fathers death

2. Diana Careys’ brother

3. Penny Fox and Dwight Clay leaving as assistants.

Becky will get gift certificates for both former assistants from Joseph Beth.

Financial records and receipts were reorganized and an outstanding bill was paid.

For building caretaker day the first week in October the school will present a card shower for custodians and a box lunch from Stanley J’s will be provided one day. Veronica will take care of the details.

At our next meeting it was decided to update and revise the social committee guidelines and rework the checking account. Eileen will organize past bank statements and Debbie will compile and organize the past minutes.

Previous Balance: As received on the August 13^th bank statement $1,418.

Expenditures: $115 outstanding bill paid to Nicholasville Florist on Sept. 7
