STONEWALL SOCIAL COMMITTEE MINUTES-TUESDAY APRIL 1, 2003

2:30-3:15

Members present: Brenda Burton, Stefanie Britt, Dana Rose, Cynthia Turner and Nancie Watson

Items Discussed:

1. Discussed assistants day on April 18. We voted that Blimpies will be served on that day.

2. Decided that Mary McClellen will be recognized along with the assistants on April 18th.

3. Discussed that on April 23rd, secretaries day, everyone in the office will be recognized with a luncheon on this day except for the people that already have a special day such as Regina Adams. This has not been confirmed and will discuss with Pam Mitchell and Karen Davis about how this was handled last year. We estimated this would total about 10 people in the office.

4.Discussed about giving a $30.00 donation to the "Bird Lady" per Mrs. Erwin's request in honor of her husband. Everyone present was in agreement.

5. Cynthia Turner sent Judy Gerwertzman a card due to her car accident.

6. Mr. McCaw's birthday gift will be presented to him in the front hallway on Wednesday at 7:10 am.

7. Per Karen Davis, she has already purchased plates, water, 2 liters for April 18th Assistants Day.

8. Discussion took place about possibly setting up an emergency fund separate from the social committee dues if unexpected events occur. This will be discussed in more detail at the next meeting when everyone is present.
