Stonewall Social Committee Minutes – September 2001

Members Present:         Debbie Moore

                                    Theresa Prewitt

The meeting commenced at 2:45. Welcomes and introductions were made. 

Topics of Discussion:

  1. Social dues have been increased from $20 to $25 for the 2001-2002 school year.  Dues will be the same for all faculty and staff members.  Payment of dues may be split with half payment first semester and half payment second semester. Continuing collection of 2001-2002 dues was discussed.

 

  1. Recognition of Marjorie Cornelieus retirement-she was given a gift certificate to Fayette Mall in June 2001 by Pam Mitchell.

 

  1. Memorial contributions were sent over the summer in honor of Becky Mosolgo’s father.

 

  1. Social committee guidelines were discussed and amended.

 

  1. Upcoming activities through October were discussed.

 

  1. A date for the Holiday Staff Party in December was tentatively scheduled for December 6th, 2001.   The dinner will be held at the Quail Run Clubhouse from 4:00-6:00 p.m.

 

  1. Committee members were selected for the following activities and/or positions:
