 Purpose: 

1.        Publicize school activities in the community;

2.        Recognize achievement by staff and students within the school and community;

3.        Utilize resources such as email, PTA Newsletter, web site, neighborhood association newsletters, local government, newspaper, and television;

4.        Develop activities at the school that involve community resources.

  1. Group is unclear about the policies for this committee and will meet again on the 23rd after getting more information to work on policies.  
  2. Discussion was held about parent member for this committee.  Felt that the PTA does an excellent job in this area.  Group feels that teacher rep. For the PTA should be on this committee.
