Public Relations Committee Meeting Minutes 

March 4, 2003   

2:40- 3:30p.m.

Members in attendance:  T. Butler, C. Wheeler, T. Prewitt, D. Moore,

                          Absent:  D. Lansden, D. Germann

1.        T. Butler will get the list of Science Fair winners to D. Moore so she can write an article for the PTA newsletter congratulating both school and county fourth grade Science Fair winners.

2.        There was discussion about submitting an article for the PTA newsletter recognizing the cafeteria staff this month.  It was decided to not write an article because this would need to be done for all groups throughout the year as the appreciation weeks occur.  Classes are making posters and cards for the cafeteria staff this week.  

3.        T. Butler will write a thank you note to Janet Fisher and the PTA to thank them for coordinating the Pizza Supper/Art Fair to be held March 27.

4.        T. Prewitt will write three thank you PTA newsletter articles; one to the PTA thanking them for their hard work organizing the Pizza Supper, one to all teachers, staff and parents who worked to make Winterfest a success and an article to Teresa Moore and Bruce Moore thanking them for coordinating the Entrepreneur Fair.
