Public Relations Committee Minutes 

Date:  November 05, 2002

Members Present:  T. Butler, D. Lansden, D. Moore, T. Prewitt, S. Veinot, and C. Wheeler

Absent:  D. Germann

            Discussions: 

1.        Thanks to Andrea Guise we now have the e-mail address for the Stonewall Neighborhood Association. Charelle will forward this information to Doug. 

2.        Theresa didn’t quite make the deadline to have the Custodian Appreciation Day notice printed in the Stonewall Newsletter. However, she did remember to send in a caption about Teresa Moore’s trip to Japan but…  she accidentally sent it to the wrong e-mail address. OOPS! ! 

3.        Theresa has sent Doug an e-mail to let him know that she covered committee notes for him at the last meeting. 

4.        Debbie wrote up the congratulations announcement for Mr. Hausley. 

5.        Debbie and Charelle both made contact with Shannon Lymon. They invited her to our committee meeting.  Unfortunately, there was some confusion about which Tuesday we met, and Shannon came on the wrong Tuesday.  A second invitation was extended, but due to school being closed (for the children) this invitation was declined. 

6.        Two parents have been selected to serve on our committee. Both Charelle and Debbie will make contacts with these parents prior to our meeting dates. 

7.        Sandy received an e-mail from Ed  in response to her request for him to use the parent surveys received  this year to update the school’s  Community Resource Book.  Ed has updated the book and has placed it in the school’s intranet for the staff utilize. 

8.        Tonya hasn’t sent any Thank You notes out. 

9.        Charelle hasn’t sent any Birthday Cards out. 

10.     NO NEW BUSINESS!
