Members
present: Jane Armistead, Becky
Ferrero, Doug Germann, Becky Horine, Donna Isaacs, and Charelle Wheeler
- Donna
Isaacs is still working on the Community Resource Directory.
It will be ready for distribution to teachers in early February.
The committee will review this prior to February 1.
- Becky
Ferrero sent an article to the Herald Leader about the P.T.A. coat drive.
- Doug
Germann will send a note to Janet Fisher thanking her for getting
children’s artwork published in the Herald Leader.
- Kim
Sponcil will talk to Stephanie Clark about Jacie Thompson’s art and D.J.
Cobb’s picture being published in the Herald Leader.
Kim or Stephanie will write an article about this for the newsletter.
- Andrea
has contacted the Stonewall, Rabbit Run, and Monticello neighborhood
newsletters. They are going to
publish information about Winterfest and other Stonewall activities.
- Becky
Horine requested that Jane Armistead ask the P.T.A. for $500 to pay for a
Wulfe Brothers patriotic concert as a reward to students for excellent test
scores.
- Kim
Sponcil submitted an article to the newsletter about the third grade’s
donation of books to Toys for Tots.
- Becky
Ferrero will send a press announcement to the Herald Leader about Winterfest,
which is scheduled on February 23 from 10 to 3.
- Becky
Ferrero is in the office every Wednesday.
P.T.A. newsletter articles can be delivered to her on that day.
