2:30-4:00 pm

Members Present: Teachers - Becky Horine, Doug Germann, Charelle Wheeler, Kim Sponcil, Andrea Guise, Donna R. Isaacs

-Donna Isaacs reported on the new Community Resource Book. Entries were received from approximately 50 Stonewall families and will be put into book form by January.

-The Safety suggestions from the November meeting were taken to the PTA and discussed. They are also especially concerned about getting “speed bumps” put in ASAP. The question was asked, “How can we get these important issues and problems taken care of - immediately?”

-A thank you note was written to the Coal Council for their generous gifts to the school in recognition of Jake Hoffman writing a winning essay for them.

-Andrea will put new Stonewall School news in the next Stonewall Neighborhood newsletter that goes out in January. Other neighborhoods might be interested in the same information-Rabbit Run, Higbee Mill and someone will check with the FAMILY magazine.

-Kim sent news to the PTA newsletter concerning Ms. Moore’s 5th grade class sending money to New York and in recognition of Beth Roseland being receiving the assistant of the month award.

-Becky Ferrero volunteered to write any “press releases” for the school-an expertise she is very willing to share!

-Monica shared “Winter Coat Drive” information.

-The 3rd grade classes are collecting books for “Toys for Tots.”

-*The committee then worked and completed their “Character Education/ Barrier Reduction” portion of the school’s Consolidated Plan.
