Public Relations Committee Minutes
November 6, 2001

Members present:  Jane Armistead, Andrea Guise, Doug Germann, Becky Horine, Donna Isaacs, Monica Mehanna, Kim Sponcil, and Charelle Wheeler

•  Monica Mehanna is the newest member of our committee.

•  After extensive discussion about parking lot safety, Jane Armistead volunteered to check with the PTA Safety Committee about possible solutions.

•  Andrea Guise will have Art Fair and Winterfest information put in the Stonewall Neighborhood Association newsletter.   She will also mention that the Stonewall PTA donated $5,700 and Brian Rogers from Parks and Recreation donated $5,000 for new playground equipment.

• Kim Sponcil will check with Mr. Osborn about possible Herald Leader coverage of upcoming Stonewall events.  In the PTA newsletter, she will thank Shannon Lyman for her generous donation of nine LexMark printers and cartridges to our school.

• Doug Germann will write a thank you note to the Kentucky Coal Cabinet for a donation of a computer.  This donation was made in honor of Jake Hoffman’s accomplishment of writing an essay and winning a $5000.00 scholarship.

• Donna Isaacs continues preparation for updating the Stonewall Community Resource Book.

•  We will meet again on December 4, 2001.
