Minutes

Attendance:            LuAnn Hawkins; Teresa Moore; Gary Justice; Dana Hougland; Lynn Stewart.

Not in Attendance:  Kelly Gunn.

• Reviewed Professional Development Plan for 2003 - 2004 school year.  The plan is as follows:

August 13:            The Fragile Brain                                         3 hours

August 13:            Technology:  Grade Book, Report Card    3 hours

August 14:            Text Help                                                     3 hours

August 14:            Autism                                                              3 hours

November 4:            Math with Bev Dean                                      3 hours

November 4:            Open Response/Group Design                       3 hours

Alternate PD:            To Be Announced                                           2 hours

Alternate PD:   Individualized                                        4 hours

                                                            TOTAL:                    24 HOURS

• Changes for next year:  (1) There are new PD forms to be used.

                                              (2)  All trips will have to be pre-approved by the SBDM Council.  Money was cut again.  SBDM will oversee all allocation of money.  Money will be put into a Flexible Spending Account with other accounts.

• As stated in the minutes from February 4, 2003 there are no funds available for stipends.  Our ending balance is 11 cents.

• Committee approved Mrs. LeBlanc’s request to attend a CPR class in the summer.
