PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
Minutes from Meeting of October 3, 2000

Members Present:  Lavon Cress, Eileen Haggard, Charles Hardy, Gary Justice, Bonnie Mooney, Teresa Moore

The committee read and accepted the minutes from the 8/22/00 meeting.

The committee noted that suggestions for earning PD hours were forwarded to the faculty.  Forms and procedures for earning PD hours seem to be working well.   Hours should continue to focus on student achievement and closing the gap.

The committee still cannot determine stipends for those that go over 24 hours of PD until our PD budget is set.  We will discuss and determine stipends once our budget is set.
