                                                Cress & Irwin to Newport Aquarium

                             2.  Discussion of Curriculum & Instruction policy

Discussion on each item:                 1.  All field trips were discussed individually.

2.  Review of DRAFT Curriculum & Instruction policy created at last meeting.  Reviewed sample policies from other schools.   It was    decided to share DRAFT policy with Mr. McCaw seeking any further suggestions and then present it to the SBDM council for approval.

Action taken on each item:                1.    All field trips were approved, including a post-approval of  Cress & Irwin’s trip to the Newport Aquarium.

2.        It was decided that we should share the DRAFT Curriculum and Instruction policy with Mr. McCaw seeking his suggestions and then submit it to the SBDM for approval.
