presented:
1.
Discussion regarding compiling Stonewall Consolidated Plan for the
2002-2003 school year.
2.
Specific points need to be presented and to be reviewed by all
committees, and grade levels.
3.
It was decided that we need to review what elements and areas were
successfully accomplished during the 2000-2001 school year.
4.
It was presented that we need to focus on areas of improvement.
Moreover, to design appropriate objectives to reach needed goals for
successful accomplishment.
5.
Discussion regarding possible improvements in 4th grade
accountability writing scores.
6.
Dialogue was presented which reflected the concern over the how-to best
serve the needs of children performing below grade level in reading and math.
7.
Mr. Hardy stated that he would be available to give intermediate teachers
release time to implement modeling best instructional practices to primary
teachers in their classroom setting.
8.
Mr. Hardy will post 2 – 3 best practices suggestions on a regular basis
in the faculty/staff lounge.
9.
Professional Development will be contacted to provide funding for release
time to faculty to glean possible strategies to improve Stonewall’s writing
scores and to best serve the needs of children performing below grade level in
reading and math. This will be for
visiting and observing programs being implemented at other school sites.
