Members Present:  Sandy Veinot, Lynda Davis, LuAnn Hawkins, Marla Fox and Regina Adams

 Agenda Item:  Proposal for Remaining ESS 2000-2001 Budget

Highlights:  We have $2,783.34 remaining in our budget that must be spent by September 30, 2001.  It was recommended that we use this money to fund a jumpstart reading program for at-risk third graders and to begin Saturday School during the month of September.  A copy of the recommended proposal is attached.

Action:  The committee agreed by consensus to budget the reading program and Saturday School, including teachers and computer lab assistant as presented in the proposal.   The proposal will be presented to the SBDM Council on August 21^st for approval.
