There was a lengthy discussion about an “invitation policy.”  An invitation policy is necessary to prevent the exclusion of students who may not receive an invitation.  The committee recommends the following policy:

INVITATION POLICY

If parents want to use the school to pass out any invitations, the following procedures will be followed:

  1. An adult will deliver invitations to their child’s homeroom teacher.
  2. Only the teacher will pass out the invitations.
  3. Invitations will only be passed out in the child’s homeroom.
  4. Invitations will not be passed out individually in other homerooms.
  5. Invitations will not be passed out in any other manner.
  6. The invitations will be passed out only if there is one for each:

a.       Boy

b.       Girl, or

c.       Every student in the class.
